Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek
On arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport you will be met by your guide, who will join you for your safari through Namibia. Transfer the car rental company, were your 4×4 vehicle is ready for your collection.
Enjoy the rest of the day sightseeing in Windhoek and together with you guide prepare for your safari.
Overnight at Villa Violet, a friendly and personal run guesthouse, situated in the suburb of Klein Windhoek.
The bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary style with various shades of purple and violet.
A veranda leads into the lovely garden with a swimming pool and several sun loungers.
A healthy breakfast buffet is served in the dining room.

WindhoekDay 2: Windhoek  – Erongo Mountains
Depart form the busy capital and drive through the Khomashochland to Karibib and on towards Omaruru.
The Onduruquea Lodge is situated near Omaruru, in a unique environment close to the Erongo Mountains.
Spacious and air-conditioned rooms overlook a waterhole, which is frequently visited by various game species.

Erongo mountainsDay 3: Erongo – Damaraland  – Ugab Valley
Today’s travels take you through the Erongo Mountains to the Ugab valley.
The Damara Mopane Camp is surrounded by Mopane woodland offering comfortable rooms, a big swimming pool, as well as a modern restaurant area and terrace.
The lodge grows its own vegetable and herbs to supplement the delicious meals.

TwyfelfonteinDay 4: Twyfelfontein – Grootberg – Etendeka Plateau
Visit the interesting land marks in the area, like the Organ Pipes, the Burnt Mountain, and Twyfelfontein.
At Twyfelfontein you will find the most rock engravings and rock paintings in the whole of Africa.  The age of this rock art is estimated to be approximately 500 to 10 000 years old.
Proceed through the rugged mountain landscape to the Grootberg Lodge, situated on the Etendeka Plateau.
The Grootberg Lodge stands sentinel over the Klip River Valley, with rock and thatch chalets gazing out over the gorge.
The lodge is situated in the 12 000 hectares Conservancy, which has been set aside by the #Koadi//Hoas community for conservation and tourism. Various activities are offered this pristine wilderness.

Day 5: Etendeka Plateau – Grootberg
Various optional activities are offered by the lodge, such as a guided tour to a Himba Village, tracking the Desert adapted elephants in this pristine wilderness or guided walks.

Day 6: Grootberg – Etosha National Park
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast, before you proceed to the southern parts of the Etosha National Park.
A first game drive in the afternoon in the Etosha National Park is possible.
Overnight at Vreugde Guestfarm situated not far from the entrance to the Etosha National Park.
The peaceful tranquility of the beautiful garden and the hospitality of your hosts will make you feel at home.

Etosha National ParkDay 7: Etosha National Park
Spend the day with game drives in the Etosha National Park, one of the largest game parks in Africa, with 22 912km². The park owes its unique landscape to the Etosha Pan, a vast shallow depression of approximately 5 000km². A series of waterholes along the southern edge of the pan guarantees rewarding and often spectacular game viewing.

EtoshaDay 8: Etosha National Park
Enjoy another day of game viewing, crossing the park from West to East.  Several of the 114 mammal species found in the park are rare and/or endangered, including the black rhino and black-faced impala. Over 340 bird species have been recorded in the park.
Leave the park in the late afternoon and proceed to the Mushara Bush Camp, offering you a comfortable bush-camp experience.
The large custom made tents, all with en-suite bathrooms, do you give the real bush feeling.
Dinners are served in the stylish dining area.

Day 9: Etosha National Park – Grootfontein
Make your way in the direction of Grootfontein, with a short stop to visit the Hoba Meteorite and proceed to the Fiume Lodge, situated just 30 kilometers north from the town of Grootfontein.
Comfortable accommodation is offered in chalets, all equipped with air conditioning, en suite bathroom, twin beds and mosquito nets.
Various optional activities are on offer from the lodge.

Divundu BaganiDay 10: Grootfontein – Popa Falls – Mahangu National Park
Today’s journey takes you into the lush Caprivi Strip of Namibia.
In 1890 the German Chancellor Leo von Caprivi negotiated this land in exchange with the United Kingdom in the Helgoland Treaty.
The Kavongo and the Kwando River cross the narrow strip, whilst the Zambezi and the Linyanti/Chobe River from part of the boarders.
Tonight the Nunda Lodge, on the banks of the Kavango River, accommodates you.
All rooms are river facing and comfortably furnished with a private deck.
At the main building a spacious deck looks out on the river and the Bwabwata National Park.
The Popa Falls, the Mahangu- and Bwabwata National Park are all close by.
Nunda River Lodge offers the following activities: game drives, boat trips and fishing, mokoro trips as well as traditional village walks.

Day 11: Caprivi – Bwabwata National Park – Kongola
Travel through the Bwabwata National Park to the Mazambala Island Lodge near Kongola on the Kwando River.
The Lodge is situated on an island in the flood plains of the Kwando River amidst lush tropical vegetation.
The en-suite bungalows are all equipped with mosquito nets and ceiling fans.
On 2.5 meter high stilts the restaurant affords stunning views of the vast floodplains.

KwandoDay 12:  Bwabwata National Park
This day gives you the opportunity to participate in some of the optional activities which are offered at the Mazambala Island Lodge.
Optional activities available are sundowner boat trips, fishing trips and guided nature walks.
The Bwabwata National Park is noted for big herds of elephants and buffaloes.
The Kwando flood plains are a real birders paradise.

KavangoDay 13: Kongola – Rundu
Return to Rundu through the Bwabwata National Park.
The Kaisosi River Lodge is situated 7km east of Rundu on the banks of the Okavango River, with fully furnished chalets overlooking the river.
The restaurant and the swimming pool are at the main area.

Day 14: Rundu – Otavi
As you make your way back to Windhoek you spend a night at the Gabus Game Ranch, close to Otavi at the foot of the Uiseb Mountains.
Relax at the swimming pool or watch the game coming for a drink at the nearby waterhole which is illuminated at night.
The bungalows are surrounded by a lush garden and overlook the waterhole.
Delicious meals are served under the lapa or in the dining room.

Today your journey comes to an end in Windhoek, where you will spend the last night in Namibia in Villa Violet again.

Day 16: Departure
The rental vehicles are returned in time for your transfer to the Hosea Kutako International Airport in time for your departure flight.
