| Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek |
|
On your arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport you will be met for a private transfer to your hotel in Windhoek.
Windhoek, Namibias capital is a small but bustling city with a population of approximately 300 000 people. Windhoek is often described as a city with a "continental" atmosphere, with historical buildings dating back to 1880 as well as modern high rise buildings. At the same time Windhoek has the colour, sounds and tempo of a modern African city with multi-cultural atmosphere.
Your hotel, Hotel Pension Thule, is situated on top of a hill, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the Klein-Windhoek valley. It features modern, spacious rooms which are comfortably furnished. From the a la carte restaurant, swimming pool and the garden area you can enjoy the surroundings as well as the colourful African sunsets.

Day 2: Windhoek - Damaraland - Etendeka Highlands
|

| In the morning you will be transferred to the Eros Airport where your pilot will be ready to start the fly-In safari with you.
Your flight takes you north-west to the Damaraland, where you spend the next two nights on the Etendeka highlands.
Etendeka - the land of the layered hills, wide open spaces, rugged natural beauty and vistas that go on forever. Here in this remote area where time stands still, where the modern world and its cares are forgotten, where the plants and animals have evolved side by side with their environment over millennia.
The ancient basalt has been eroded into a dramatic landscape of flat-topped hills and plains strewn with weathered boulders.
The Etendeka Mountain Camp offers a unique, pristine wilderness experience which will appeal to photographer, naturalist, astronomer and geologist alike, as well as lovers of peace, quiet and open space.
Accommodation is offered in comfortable tents, all offering an un-spoilt view of the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Activities included are a guided nature walk and scenic drive.

Day 3: Etendeka Mountains
|
|
| Share the enthusiasm of the Etendeka guide team and learn more about the Fauna and Flora of this dry and remote area. You will be fascinated by the small animals and plants that you find here. With a bit of luck, you might even see the black rhinoceros roaming these areas.
Enjoy the vibrant colors of the sunset on the rugged mountains.

Day 4: Etendeka - Camp Syncro
|
|
| Fly out in the morning to Camp Syncro, situated in the Marienfluss Valley in the remote Kaokofeld.
Camp Syncro is a unique safari camp for individualists, situated right on the banks of the Kunene River at the end of the
Marienfluss valley.
The chalets are built from river stones and covered with thatched roofs. Peacefully secluded, they stand under big Winterthorn trees. A unique atmosphere is created by the subtle background rush of the river, the recurrent clacking of cattle and goat hooves on the pebble stones and the warbling of the mourning dove in the trees.

Day 6: Camp Syncro - Etosha National Park
|
|
Today we leave the remote areas of Namibia and continue to the Etosha National Park.
The Ongava Tented Camp is tucked away in a hidden valley in the privately owned 30 000ha Ongava Game Reserve bordering the Etosha National Park.
The camp accommodates up to 18 exclusive guests in nine large and luxuriously furnished safari tents.
Activities at this unique camp begin in the main area with its tranquil bar and swimming pool fronting onto a much-frequented waterhole.
Here in the private Ongava Game Reserve you might encounter the white and the black rhino.
After tea, you will head out into the private reserve to enjoy a guided game drive in an open vehicle.

Day 7: Etosha National Park
|
|
A morning game drive to the Etosha National Park is scheduled for today. The Etosha National Park was proclaimed as Namibia's first conservation area in 1907 by the then German government. With subsequent additions it became the largest game reserve in the world, covering a vast area of ± 80 000 km˛. For several reasons the size of the park progressively became smaller, reaching its current surface area of 22 912 km˛.
Consisting of saline desert, savannah and woodlands, its definitive feature is the Etosha Pan, a vast, shallow depression of approximately 5 000 km˛.
Several of the 114 mammal species found in the park are rare and/or endangered, including the black rhino and black-faced impala. Over 340 bird species have been recorded in the park.
Spend the afternoon game viewing on the private property.

Day 8: Etosha National Park – Kalahari – San Bushman
|
|
Depart in the course of the morning to Tsumkwe located in the so-called Bushman land.
This area forms part of the Kalahari basin.
You will be transferred to Nhoma, a bushman village with about 40 adults and 80 children near Tsumkwe.
Nhoma Camp is a tented camp owned by the Ju/'hoan community of //Nhoq'ma village. The camp can accommodate eight guests in twin safari tents, each with an adjoining grass-enclosed bathroom under Zambezi Teak trees on top of a dune.
The cultural experience is a guided activity, where you are shown, how the Ju/'hoansi have lived in the past and how they utilize the bush for food and medicine.

Day 9: Bushman - Cultural Experience
|
|
Spend this day with the Bushmen community to learn more about their survival skills with the bare necessities.
Not only are ancient skills such as fire making, rope making and setting of traps for birds and antelopes demonstrated, but also lesser known hunting skills with, for example, the springhare probe, is demonstrated. Because the Ju/'hoansi are still active as hunters and dependant on the bush for meat, a demonstration can become an actual hunt. There is lots of interaction between the visitor and the hunters who try to teach visitors their skills. In the afternoon, the community of //Nhoq'ma eagerly awaits the return of the hunters to see what they brought back. The entire community then participates in traditional games, which is followed by the giraffe or elephant healing dances.

Day 10: Bushman Land - Caprivi
|
|
In the morning you safari continues with a flight to the tip of the Caprivi.
Situated on the eastern tip of Namibia where the two major rivers - Chobe and Zambezi - and four countries meet, you will find the Ichingo Chobe River Lodge.
The Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is a true tented camp offering a real African experience using large double Meru tents with thatched en-suite bathrooms, overlooking the Chobe River Rapids. The main lodge buildings are built over the river and consisting of a lounge and bar with a separate dining room, all under thatch and situated under large shady trees.

Day 11 & 12: Caprivi – Chobe National Park
|
|
| Guided walks on the island offer an insight into traditional communal village life. Visit the local school and clinic.
Both the Ichobezi House boats and Ichingo Chobe River Lodge provide an ideal platform to view the abundant wildlife of the Chobe National Park. Being on the river allows you to get closer to the large variety of game including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck and the shy Chobe bushbuck. Large troops of baboons are also on hand to provide plenty of entertainment with their riverside antics. Within the river itself, there are numerous hippos and crocodiles to add to the unending display of profuse wildlife that this region offers.
In the dry season (May to September), incredible herds of elephant can be viewed - in fact the largest concentration in Africa. These mighty symbols of Africa provide spectacular moments and excellent photo opportunities as they swim in the evenings across the Chobe River to various islands they feed on.

Day 13: Caprivi - Windhoek
|
|
Return to Windhoek/Eros Airport in the course of the morning.
A private transfer takes you to the hotel.
You will have some time to spend at leisure relaxing at the hotel or do some last minute shopping in the city.
